Caramelized Banana Caramel Shake! Yummy!

Who doesn't like a good milk shake on a warm or hot day?

Today we will make a very delicious twist to a very traditional recipe.

What will you need?

Vanilla Ice Cream- 4 scoops

2 Bananas (make sure they are not green)

On the bottom of this page I will post how to caramelize your bananas BEFORE blending everything together

4 Ice Cubes

Milk 1 cup

Caramel sauce 1/4 a cup
You can make your own caramel but since this is "just" a shake I would recommend you just buy it.

Sugar add a tbs at a time to preferred sweetness

2 tbs of Vanilla or 1 Vanilla bean

Make sure you blend everything well. This amount will serve 4-6 people. If you want to serve less than just cut the measurements in half.

Caramelized Banana Caramel Shake

Whip Cream (optional)

Garnish Fruit (optional)

 Caramelizing Your Bananas!

Caramelizing your bananas is what's going to bring the twist to this shake. It's easy, fun and yummy!

In a warm pan add 2 tbs of butter

wait for it melt and add 2 tbs of brown sugar

Cut you bananas as you please and you can save some to garnish your shake..add your bananas to the hot pan with melted butter and added brown sugar..

depending on how you cut them they will or should look like one of the following pictures.
Nice and golden!

Once you have completed this you can blend everything together. Add whip cream some other fruit like a cherry or a strawberry. Even some of the caramelized bananas and of course drizzle some of the caramel over the whip cream!!
